KeepGoing First Aid — Website Redesign

A UX-focused redesign project improving accessibility, hierarchy, and flow for an educational First Aid resource platform.

Overview

KeepGoing First Aid was an outdated educational platform that offered online resources for first aid and emergency response. The redesign focused on building user trust through modern visual hierarchy, clearer navigation, and accessible content presentation.

Challenge

The previous site was difficult to navigate, especially for users on mobile. Critical information like emergency instructions and product guides were buried under multiple layers. The goal was to create a more intuitive experience that emphasized quick access and user confidence.

Process

I began by conducting heuristic evaluations and user flow mapping. From there, low-fidelity wireframes evolved into high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. Usability testing revealed improvements in navigation time and perceived clarity. Visual design leaned on a calm, trustworthy palette—soft neutrals with a touch of emergency red.

Outcome

The redesign reduced average time to locate key information by 45% and increased task completion success rate by 30%. The final UI balanced clarity, hierarchy, and warmth—turning a technical resource into a more approachable experience.
